Whytemead top in times tables!
Schoolsworks ran a times tables competition for all eight of the schools in the Trust. Children scored points for the amount of questions they got correct over the period of a week and the average score per child was then taken and compared across all schools.
We are super proud to say that Whytemead won the overall competition with the highest average for the week. We also had the highest scoring child - Theo in Year 5 - and the class with the best average across all classes which was 5 ED. Total winners all round with special congratulations to Theo!
The competition was well supported by the families with the children spending a lot of time practising their times tables at home and school.
Three trophies were presented to the school in our Friday celebration assembly and we are looking forward to the next competition which is running in June. Get ready to defend your title Whytemead!
